Superstrings

Whether we speak of the familiar four dimensions of our universe, the eleven of M-theory, or the twelve of F-theory, humanity seems poised to look far deeper than the atom—seeking to understand the presence of strings in both the microcosm and the macrocosm.

Is man only what the sensory organs perceive? We may inhabit a universe of twelve dimensions, yet we experience and operate within only three. What would our lives become in an unstable environment where all these hidden dimensions were accessible—where we could truly sense the pulse of the strings themselves?
