Over the years, I have been largely self-taught in painting, attending numerous workshops and studying closely in painters\u2019 ateliers and museums, constantly exploring different styles and influences.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My academic and artistic interests focus on the philosophical, ethical, and dissemination aspects of BioArt, as well as on key biotechnological topics such as genetic engineering, hybrid organisms, cloning, semi-living entities, stem cells, quantum mechanics, nanotechnology, brain-computer interaction, transhumanism, and Neo-Humanity, and their representation through art.<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From 2013 to 2016, I worked as a research associate at the Department of Audio and Visual Arts at the Ionian University, contributing to BioArt projects that merge painting with science. Since 2016, I have been collaborating as an independent artist with the Novel Global Community Education Foundation (Sydney, Australia) in the field of Artistomics. Starting in January 2024, I joined the creative art team of the research company Funogen.<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In my recent oil paintings, I merge art with emerging scientific advancements such as quantum theory and neurobiology, while often expressing philosophical questions and personal experiences. My work explores the complexity of human emotion\u2014both noble and dark\u2014the convergence of biotechnology with human nature in the emerging era of post-humanism, the symbolism of the four elements, and the hidden role of subcellular processes in the human body. I also reflect on humanitarian ideals\u2014how they are often celebrated in theory, yet struggle to find footing in a world full of contradictions.<\/span><\/h5>\n<h5><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For me, art, science, and philosophy are in constant conversation. Science doesn\u2019t just inform my work &#8211; it inspires it.
